Incredibly beautiful and absolutely great venue, favourable location close to the lower temple, enjoyed our stay. The room was elegant with beautiful views of the garden, fluffy futon plus a spectacular view, the staff were helpful and amicable, did everything. The breakfast was generous and delicious and the parking was on-site. The service offered was excellent. The whole experience was such great, no complains at all, recommend.

My room in traditional Japanese style was filled with natural light and featured an incredibly cozy bed 🛏️. the location was absolutely breathtaking, being close to the beautiful Togakushi Shrine and surrounded by picturesque mountains. It was a delight to return to this tranquil spot after a day of exploring.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children within the ryokan premises.

We had a wonderful stay at a beautiful Japanese inn that was conveniently located near the bus stop and the 5 shrine walk. The inn's grounds were stunning and the town was quiet and relaxing. The staff at the inn were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at this traditional ryokan for a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

The room I stayed in was really nice, with a beautiful view and a comfy futon. I especially enjoyed the garden views. The staff was super friendly, just as I had hoped 😊.

The owner hooked us up with an awesome party in the karaoke room. We also hit up the nearby ski resort and shredded some sick slopes. The food was on point, especially the ramen. Can't wait to come back and have more crazy fun!

The only bummer was that the ryokan didn't have a cool game room or a pool table. It would have been epic to have some late-night gaming sessions or challenge each other to some pool battles.

The service and food were mind-blowing, the rooms had amazing views and the bedding was super warm and comfortable. The location was perfect for hiking and skiing. The owners were incredibly accommodating, even catering to special dietary needs and offering rides. The area was jaw-dropping, especially in winter. The onsen-style bath was really relaxing. an unforgettable stay!

The location of Oshi Ryokan is fantastic, close to downtown Nagano and in a peaceful area. The hotel is just a short walk from Togakushi Shrine Hinomikosya. The Japanese-style room is beautiful and the bed is lovely.
